Pre-market Movers For May 20 (AEO, TGT, YHOO, SRPT, SPLS, LOW, ETSY, LPTN)

American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. (AEO) is rising 7 percent to $16.90 as its first quarter results topped Wall Street view. Consolidated comparable sales increased 7 percent. The company also provided strong earnings guidance for its second quarter.

Target Corp. (TGT) is gaining over 1 percent to $79.19. The company's first quarter earnings and sales were higher than in the year-ago quarter and also raised the lower end of its adjusted earnings per share guidance range.

Yahoo! Inc. (YHOO) is up 3 percent to $42.29, clawing back some of the 7 percent loss it experienced on Tuesday, when it weakened on fears that its spin-off of Alibaba (BABA) would be be hindered by IRS rule change.

Sarepta Therapeutics, Inc. (SRPT) is jumping 46 percent to $23.99 based on the news that it held a pre-New Drug Application meeting with the FDA regarding its lead product candidate, eteplirsen, for the treatment of Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

Decliners:

Staples, Inc. (SPLS) is down 1 percent to $16.17. The company's first quarter GAAP earning declined from the year-ago quarter, while its adjusted earning per share matched Street view. Sales declined 6.9 percent and also missed the consensus estimate.

Lowe's Companies Inc. (LOW) is down 6 percent to $67.48 as its first quarter earnings and sales missed analysts' expectations. Meanwhile, the company reaffirmed is 2015 earnings and sales growth guidance.

Etsy, Inc. (ETSY) is down 19 percent to $17.01 following the release of its first quarterly report since its initial public offering.
