Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen Q4 Global Same-store Sales Rises 9.8% - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Quick-service restaurant operator Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Inc. (PLKI) reported that same-store sales for the fourth quarter increased 9.8 percent on top of a 0.8 percent growth in the fourth quarter of 2013.

In its preliminary announcement, the company said global same-store sales for the full-year 2014 increased 6.2 percent. Two-year global same-store sales growth was 9.9 percent.

Based on its fourth quarter sales and store opening performance, the company now expects fiscal 2014 earnings in a range of $1.57 to $1.58 per share and adjusted earnings in the range of $1.64 to $1.65 per share, up from the prior adjusted earnings forecast on $1.61 to $1.64 per share.
