PolyOne Corp Profit Falls 6% In Q4

(RTTNews) - PolyOne Corp (POL) revealed earnings for fourth quarter that lost ground from last year.

The company said its earnings totaled $31.6 million, or $0.38 per share. This was lower than $33.5 million, or $0.39 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.37 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 1.5% to $787.7 million. This was up from $775.8 million last year.
