Pandora Promotes Chris Martin To Chief Technology Officer - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Internet radio service provider Pandora Media Inc. (P) said Tuesday that it has promoted Chris Martin to Chief Technology Officer, and Steve Ginsberg to Chief Information Officer, effective immediately.

Martin will succeed Tom Conrad, who is stepping down from his role as CTO and Executive Vice President of Product after nearly ten years at Pandora.

The company said it is also creating a new Chief Product Officer role and is launching a search to fill that position. Conrad is expected to continue full-time for the next three months and then transition to a part-time role advising the Company's leadership team.

Martin joined Pandora in 2004 and has been Vice President of Engineering, responsible for software development, quality assurance, customer support, device development, device certification and production support. Before joining Pandora, he served in various engineering capacities at multiple enterprise software companies, including Quintus, Kenamea and QRS/Inovis. He will report to Brian McAndrews, Pandora's Chief Executive Officer, President and Chairman.

Most recently, Ginsberg was Vice President of Technical Operations and is responsible for building and managing the infrastructure that delivers Pandora to listeners, as well as managing Pandora's internal enterprise systems and information technology. In his new role, he will report to Pandora's Chief Financial Officer, Mike Herring. Ginsberg has been a key member of Pandora's technical team since 2006. Prior to Pandora, he had management roles at DHAP Digital and MyPrimeTime Inc.
