Ormat Prices Secondary Offering Of 3.7 Mln Shares On Behalf Of Shareholder ORIX

(RTTNews) - Ormat Technologies, Inc. (ORA), a geothermal and renewable energy technology company, Thursday announced the pricing of an underwritten secondary offering of 3.7 million shares of its common stock on behalf of shareholder ORIX Corp. (IX).

The shares are priced at $76.20 each. The offering is expected to close on December 13.

Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC is the manager and underwriter for the offering. They also have 30 days to buy an additional 555,000 more shares from ORIX.

Ormat is not selling its shares in this offering and will not receive any proceeds from the stockholder's sale of shares.

Wednesday, ORA closed 0.82 cents or 1.03% higher at $80.19 on the New York Stock Exchange. In the expected trading, ORA was 4.60% lesser at $76.50.
