    DULLES, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 1, 2005--Orbital Sciences Corporation (NYSE:ORB) announced today that its Chairman and CEO David W. Thompson and Vice Chairman and CFO Garrett E. Pierce will make a presentation to investors and analysts during the Friedman Billings Ramsey & Co. 2005 Washington Conference to be held on Thursday, March 3 in Washington, DC. The company's presentation is scheduled to begin at 10:50 a.m. EST.
    Orbital will provide a link to the webcast of the audio portion of the company's presentation, as well as post the presentation slides on the company's web site at http://www.orbital.com/Investor/. Orbital will maintain the link to the conference replay and keep the presentation slides available for five business days following its presentation.
