Opsware Inc. Expands European Presence to Serve Increasing Demand for Its IT Automation Software; Opsware Expands Presence in EMEA, Appoints Proven Sales Executive as VP, EMEA

    SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 8, 2005--Opsware Inc. (Nasdaq:OPSW) today announced that due to increasing demand for its IT automation software, it is expanding its presence in Europe. In addition to its existing office in the UK, Opsware has expanded its presence into France and Germany, and has appointed Remy Dubois as Vice President, EMEA. Remy Dubois brings over 15 years of sales and sales management experience to his new role. He previously served as Vice President of Sales, EMEA at WebMethods, where he was responsible for significant revenue growth for the region.

    Remy Dubois served at WebMethods since 1999, consistently exceeding sales goals while growing and managing the sales team first in France and then throughout Europe. In 2003 he was given the "President's Award," which recognizes the worldwide employee of the year. Prior to WebMethods, Remy Dubois was in sales management with Sybase, where he consistently grew license and service revenue for their telecommunications, ISPs and media vertical markets. He also served in sales and management roles for Software AG, Pyramid Technology and UNISYS France.
