Oliver Wyman Says Hector Sants To Join Firm As Partner And Vice Chairman

(RTTNews) - Management consulting firm Oliver Wyman, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Companies (MMC), said Sir Hector Sants would join the firm as a Partner and Vice Chairman. Sants will be based in the London office effective July 1, 2015.

According to the company, Sants will draw from his extensive corporate governance, regulatory reform, and management experience in both the public and private sectors. He was most recently at Barclay's Bank, where he served as Head of Compliance and Government and Regulatory Relations.

From July, 2007 to June, 2012, he was the Chief Executive of the Financial Services Authority in the UK. He led the FSA during the financial crisis and reorganized it into the current conduct and prudential structure prior to his departure.

Until June 2015, Sants will serve as Chief Advisor to Abu Dhabi Global Market, a broad-based financial services hub for local, regional, and international institutions that will launch formally in 2015.
