NTT DoCoMo H1 Profit Rises, Revises FY Forecast

(RTTNews) - NTT DoCoMo Inc. (DCM) Friday said its first-half attributable net income rose to 317.135 billion yen from 259.522 billion yen reported last year.

Basic earnings per share were 81.70 yen, in comparison with 62.61 yen last year.

Operating revenues were 2.215 trillion yen, compared to 2.173 trillion yen in the prior year.

Further, the company revised its forecast for the year. Attributable net income is now expected to be 490 billion yen, compared to the prior projection of 470 billion yen.

The company now expects operating revenues to be 4.490 trillion yen, down 20 billion yen from its initial forecast, due mainly to a decline in equipment sales revenues.
