NextEra Energy Partners LP Reveals 100% Advance In Q2 Bottom Line

(RTTNews) - NextEra Energy Partners LP (NEP) reported a profit for its second quarter that gained ground compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $8 million, or $0.19 per share. This was higher than $4 million, or $0.16 per share, in last year's second quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.33 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 36.8% to $171 million. This was up from $125 million last year.
