NextEra Energy Partners LP Q3 Income Retreats 67%

(RTTNews) - NextEra Energy Partners LP (NEP) released earnings for third quarter that dropped compared to the same period last year.

The company said its profit declined to $1 million, or $0.05 per share. This was down from $3 million, or $0.17 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.24 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 6.2% to $103 million. This was up from $97 million last year.
