NephroGenex $37.2 Mln IPO

(RTTNews) - NephroGenex, Inc. (NRX) said Friday that it has closed its initial public offering of 3.1 million shares of common stock at a public offering price of $12.00 per share for total gross proceeds of $37.2 million before underwriting discounts.

In addition, the company has granted the underwriter a 45-day option to purchase up to an additional 465,000 shares of common stock from NephroGenex to cover over-allotments, if any.

The company's stock is listed on The NASDAQ Capital Market under the trading symbol "NRX."

Aegis Capital Corp. acted as sole book-running manager for the offering.
