NCI Building Q4 Results Top Estimates

(RTTNews) - NCI Building Systems, Inc. (NCS) today reported net income for the fourth quarter of $8.3 million, or $0.11 per share, compared to $6.3 million or $0.08 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Excluding the gain associated with the insurance recovery and the unreimbursed business interruption costs, adjusted net income for the latest quarter was $8.0 million, or $0.10 per share.

Sales for the fourth quarter grew 10.7% to $400.2 million from $361.7 million in last year's fourth quarter, due to higher volumes in each of our operating segments, as well as the contribution from the extra week this fiscal quarter. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.07 per share on revenue of $362.83 million for the fourth quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
