Navigant Consultant Q2 Profit Falls On Lower Demand

(RTTNews) - Navigant Consultant Inc. (NCI) Monday announced a fall in second quarter net income to $8.79 million from $14. 78 million in the prior year. On a per share basis, earnings declined to $0.18 from $0.30 a year ago. On an adjusted basis, earnings were $0.24 per share.

The company noted that the demand for its services were impacted by unexpected factors.

Total revenue for the quarter decreased to $256.85 million from $261.68 million in the prior year.

Looking ahead to fiscal 2017, the company expects revenue to be in a range of $1.04 billion to $1.065 billion. Adjusted EBITDA for the fiscal is projected to be in a range of $135 to $145 million. Outlook for adjusted earnings per share is in a range of $1.19 to $1.29.
