MicroStrategy Inc. Q4 Income Falls

(RTTNews) - MicroStrategy Inc. (MSTR) announced a profit for fourth quarter that lost ground from last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $17.79 million, or $1.55 per share. This was lower than $31.12 million, or $2.69 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.37 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 1.4% to $138.15 million. This was down from $140.11 million last year.
