(RTTNews) - Medical Action Industries Inc. (MDCI), a manufacturer of disposable medical products, Wednesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $904 thousand or $0.05 per share, higher than $719 thousand or $0.04 per share in the prior year.

Earnings per share from continuing operations were $0.03, compared to a loss of $0.04 per share a year ago.
