Marsh & McLennan Names Ferdinand Jahnel VP, Treasurer - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Marsh & McLennan Companies Inc. (MMC) said Friday that Ferdinand Jahnel has been appointed Vice President, Treasurer, reporting to Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance, Mark McGivney, effective April 1, 2015.

Jahnel will be responsible for Global Cash Management, Credit and Capital Markets activities, and Global Pensions. Jahnel will also be responsible for managing the Company's global commercial banking relationships. He will be based at Marsh & McLennan's corporate headquarters in New York City.

Jahnel joins Marsh & McLennan from Henry Schein, Inc., where he was Vice President, Treasurer, with responsibility for all global treasury and risk management activities of the firm. Jahnel joined Henry Schein in 2008 in this role.

Before joining to Henry Schein, Jahnel served as the Vice President, Assistant Treasurer for CA Technologies from 2005 to 2008. He also served in treasury and finance roles for Steelcase International and the MAN Group in Europe and the United States.
