MarkWest Energy Partners Slips To Loss In Q2 - Quick Facts
(RTTNews) - MarkWest Energy Partners, L.P. (MWE) reported that its net loss attributable to the Partnership's unitholders for the second-quarter was $101.49 million and $0.55 per unit, compared to net income of $8.98 million and 0.05 per unit in the same quarter last year.
Total revenue for the quarter dropped to $459.63 million from $518.37 million in the prior year.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.16 per share and revenues of $575.10 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
For 2015, the Partnership's Adjusted EBITDA forecast has been narrowed to a range of $925 million to $975 million and DCF has been narrowed to a range of $700 million to $750 million based on its current forecast of operational volumes and prices for natural gas liquids, crude oil, natural gas, and derivative instruments currently outstanding.
The Partnership's portion of growth capital expenditures for 2015 remains forecasted in a range of $1.5 billion to $1.9 billion. The Partnership's forecasted maintenance capital for 2015 remains unchanged at approximately $30 million.
