MarkWest Energy Partners Posts Profit

(RTTNews) - MarkWest Energy Partners L.P. (MWE) Wednesday reported third-quarter net earnings to unit holders of $77.4 million or $0.41 per unit compared with a loss of $23.6 million or $0.17 per unit last year.

Revenues for the quarter were $607 million compared with $420.5 million in the prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.29 per unit on revenues of $593.8 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

For the full year 2014, the company increased its forecast of adjusted EBITDA to a range of $860 million to $880 million and narrowed its distributable cash flow (DCF) guidance to a range of $680 million to $700 million.

For 2015, the company expects Adjusted EBITDA of $1.0 to $1.1 billion and DCF of $800 million to $880 million.

Capital expenditures for 2015 is expected in a range of $1.8 billion to $2.3 billion.
