Liquidmetal Techs Q3 Loss Widens; Announces Common Stock Purchase Agreement

(RTTNews) - Liquidmetal Techs Inc.(LQMT.OB) posted third-quarter net loss of $6.8 million or $0.02 per share, wider than $1.1 million or $0.01 per share in the year-ago period.

Operating loss for the quarter narrowed to $1.5 million from $1.6 million in previous year quarter.

Total revenues for the current third quarter rose to $456 thousand from $107 thousand in the comparable quarter last year.

Separately, the company announced that it has entered into a common stock purchase agreement for a $20 million equity line with several existing institutional investors. The agreement will enable Liquidmetal to access additional funds upon the terms set forth in the Purchase Agreement.
