Insignia's Device Management Interoperability Lab Concludes Successful First Year; Insignia's Device Management Server Now Supports More Than 350 Mobile Phone Models

Insignia now supports and has certified its Device ManagementSuite (DMS) on more than 350 mobile phone models. TheInteroperability Lab, now located in Stockholm, Sweden, has completedagreements with four of the top six mobile phone suppliers, and hasestablished relationships with many others. The Lab processes earlyrelease samples of mobile phones against a series of compatibility andconfiguration tests with Insignia's DMS.

In addition to its internal test and certification efforts,Insignia has tested both its DMS and Open Management Client (OMC), adevice management solution for mobile phone manufacturers, at the lastfour Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) Test Fests. The Test Fests areindustry gatherings where technology suppliers can test theirstandards based products against others to certify compatibilitybetween multi-vendor solutions. Insignia's DMS server solution hasbeen tested against a variety of mobile phones and its OMC client hasbeen tested against a variety of third party mobile device managementserver solutions.
