InfoSpace Mobile Names George Fraser VP European Sales and Marketing

    BELLEVUE, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 3, 2005--InfoSpace, Inc. (Nasdaq:INSP) today announced that it has appointed Mr. George Fraser as vice president of European sales and marketing for InfoSpace Mobile. In this role, Fraser will lead a sales organization to increase sales and revenue throughout Europe across the InfoSpace Mobile portfolio.

    Fraser brings 16 years of technology sales and marketing management to InfoSpace. He most recently served as general manager for EMEA and Latin America for RealNetworks where he significantly grew the European customer base. He also launched the first European based Internet content subscription service featuring leading content brands including BBC, UEFA, MTV, CNN and Big Brother.
    Prior to RealNetworks, Fraser was the director of marketing and strategic alliances for Eyretel, a call center and trading rooms solutions company. Previously, Fraser was the European sales director for WorldCom Advanced Networks. Fraser also served as global account director and global sales development manager at British Telecom.
    Fraser graduated from Loughborough University with a degree in banking and finance.
