Infinity Augmented Reality Appoints Ortal Zanzuri As CFO - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Infinity Augmented Reality Inc. (ALSO.OB), the augmented reality software platform to connect universally with digital eyewear, smartphones, tablets, smart TVs and connected cars, announced that it has hired Ortal Zanzuri as its new Chief Financial Officer.

Most recently, Zanzuri served as Corporate Controller for Pointer Telocation Ltd., a developer, manufacturer and operator of Mobile Resource Management.

In addition to her role at Pointer Telocation, Zanzuri served as controller at Retalix Ltd, a global provider of innovative software and services to high volume, high complexity retailers. She also served as a Senior Accountant at Ernst & Young, and honed her craft as a trainee at Deloitte Brightman Almagor. Prior to entering into the world of finance, Ms. Zanzuri served four years with the Israeli Air Force.

Google Glass is expected to impact a vast spectrum of sectors contributing to the predicted $6 billion wearable computer industry by 2016 (IMS Research). According to ABI Research, the market for wearable computers in the sports and health sectors alone will grow to nearly 170 million devices by 2017, an annual growth rate of 41 percent.

Augmented reality is a medium in which real sensory inputs are enhanced, or augmented, with relevant digital information from the Internet. Using specially equipped eyewear, virtual images, video, and sound are superimposed for the user over what is actually seen and heard, heightening the real-life experience with additional information that is pertinent, informative, practical and entertaining.
