How Do Your Leaders Stack Up? Get Real Data To Build More Powerful Leadership Programs
PITTSBURGH, Feb. 3, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Is your organization holding onto outdated or ineffective leadership practices, causing profits to fall behind its competitors? Does your organization understand how to engage and motivate Millennials, or is it causing the next generation of leaders to flee to greener pastures? Are your global expansion efforts underperforming because your leaders aren't prepared for digital leadership in a foreign country?
To find out the answers to these questions, Development Dimensions International (DDI), in partnership with EY and The Conference Board, invites all organizations to learn how their leadership practices stack up by participating in the Global Leadership Forecast 2017|2018 survey, open today. Organizations that contribute to the study may be eligible to receive a free comprehensive benchmarking analysis of their leadership practices and how they stack up against other organizations globally, regionally and within their industries along with an analysis of how their leadership practices compare to organizations that are the top financial performers worldwide.
"We know from our last Global Leadership Forecast that organizations with high levels of leadership quality and leader engagement & retention are nine times more likely to outperform their peers financially," said Evan Sinar, Ph.D., DDI chief scientist and vice president, Center for Analytics & Behavioral Research. "Participating in the Global Leadership Forecast survey is an unparalleled opportunity for organizations to receive objective data about specific ways in which they are supporting or failing their leaders, and how to change their leadership development strategy to better improve their financial goals."
"Today, amid unprecedented competition and a rising premium placed on knowledge, organizations can only stay ahead of the curve by having second-to-none leaders," said Rebecca L. Ray, Ph.D., executive vice president, Knowledge Organization at The Conference Board. "From cultivating Millennials to being at the forefront of digital transformation, the feedback gained from taking part in this survey will unquestionably take organizations and their leaders up a notch."
Following prior GLF studies, this GLF will be the largest and most comprehensive study examining the current state of leadership worldwide and projecting the major issues facing leaders within organizations and across all major industries and economies over the next three years. The GLF will focus on current and emerging topics such as:
- The role of leadership purpose
- Engagement and retention of Millennial-generation employees
- Adoption of technology into the learning environment
- The state of and struggles with digital transformation
- How well leaders balance empathy with execution
- The business impact of leadership development programs.
Any organization may participate in the study. To receive the custom benchmarking analysis, each organization must meet minimum participation requirements.
The 2017|2018 study is the eighth in the series of GLF studies dating back to 1999. In the most recent study, 13,000 global leaders and 2,000 organizations contributed to the report.
The deadline to participate in the survey is April 30, 2017. The survey is available in English, French, German, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Bahasa, Portuguese and Spanish.
