Horizon Pharma's CFO To Retire, Names Replacement - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Horizon Pharma, Inc. (HZNP) Wednesday said that Robert De Vaere, its current Chief Financial Officer, would retire on September 30, 2014. Paul Hoelscher will succeed Robert De Vaere as the company's new Chief Financial Officer from October 1, and in addition, he will also play the role of Executive Vice President, Finance, effective June 23.

At the time of his retirement, De Vaere will sign a one-year consulting agreement with the firm to support the ongoing integration of Vidara, following the closing of the acquisition, and to provide general business support and guidance.

Hoelscher, the new CFO, joins Horizon from OfficeMax, Inc., where he was most recently Senior Vice President, Finance and was co-lead in integration planning activities related to its recent merger with Office Depot.
