Hillenbrand Q4 Profit Declines - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Hillenbrand Inc. (HI) reported that its fourth-quarter net income was $23.1 million or $0.37 per share, compared to $24.8 million or $0.40 per share, last year.

On an adjusted basis, net income was $31.5 million or $0.50 per share. On average, four analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.52 per share. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Net revenue rose 74% to $440.90 million, from $253.50 million, last year, while three analysts expected revenue of $463.00 million for the quarter.

Hillenbrand now expects full-year revenue to be approximately $1.7 billion and adjusted earnings in the range of $2.00 to $2.10 per share. Analysts currently expect earnings of $1.90 per share and revenue of $1.58 billion.

Earlier, the company expected revenue of approximately $1.6 billion and an adjusted earnings per share midpoint of $1.87.
