HB Fuller Q4 Profit Declines; Issues Q1 Adj. EPS Outlook - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - HB Fuller Co. (FUL) Wednesday reported fourth-quarter net income attributable to H.B. Fuller of $21.9 million, or $0.43 per share, compared to $25.1 million, or $0.49 per share in the comparable quarter last year.

Adjusted earnings from continuing operations rose to $0.68 from $0.64 per share last year. On average, seven analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.75 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues rose to $533.53 million from $513.26 million last year, while five analysts expected revenues of $527.18 million for the quarter.

Looking ahead to the first quarter, the company expects adjusted earnings of $0.50 per share. Analysts currently expect earnings of $0.60 per share.

For the fiscal year 2014, the company projects adjusted earnings guidance in the range of $3.00 to $3.15 per share and revenue growth at the low end of its long-term growth targets of 5 to 8 percent. Analysts expect full-year earnings of $3.11 per share.
