Hanmi Financial Q1 Profit Up

(RTTNews) - Hanmi Financial Corporation (HAFC) Tuesday reported first-quarter profit of $11.0 million or $0.35 per share, up from $10.1 million or $0.32 per share in the same period last year.

Net-interest income increased 9.2 percent to $28.0 million from $25.6 million last year. Net-interest margin was 4.02 percent, up 16 basis points from last year. Efficiency ratio was 56.27 percent, compared to 56.44 percent last year.
