Grid Connection of the Second Wind Farm Built by Global EcoPower

Global EcoPower (Paris:ALGEP) (FR0011289198 - ALGEP), a turnkey constructor of power plants using renewable energy sources, is proud to announce the connection to the ERDF grid of the wind power plant "Montbray and Margueray" in the department of Manche, with an installed capacity of 20 MW.

The second wind farm built by Global EcoPower on behalf of third parties is located in the municipalities of Montbray and Margueray in the department of Manche (50). It consists of 10 Senvion MM82 (ex-Repower) machines with a unit capacity of 2MW. The turbine assembly phase was completed on March 26^th, 2014, and the plant was connected to the grid on April 15^th, 2014.

The wind farm "Montbray and Margueray" will produce about 46 GWh/year, which corresponds to the electricity consumption of 18,000 households (excluding heating) and allows to avoid the emission of 12,000 tons of CO₂ per year.

The delivery to the project’s owner, the company Montbray Margueray Energy, owned by the German group Leonidas Associates, will take place at the end of the industrial commissioning which lasts approximately 2 months.

It confirms the ability of our team to deliver its plants in compliance with the technical and quality criteria required by the regulations.

We expect the grid connection of our next wind power plant with an installed capacity of 22 MW in the department of Marne before autumn 2014. »
