Google Photos Adds Bulk-Delete Facility To Free Up Device Space

(RTTNews) - Google Photos is introducing bulk-delete facility that will help in freeing up space. The users can click on the "Free Up Space" button to remove all the backed up images from the device.

John Elstone of Google plus in web post said the new update will be available on Android devices from Wednesday.

Google plus will also make a provision in SD card-enabled devices to delete photos in the external memory. Further, to accommodate more photos in the Google storage quota, "Original quality" photos of large file size and resolution can be saved in "High quality" with smaller file size and compressed format.

In a separate announcement, Google plus said it has fully redesigned two popular features - Communities and Collections for web, Android, and iOS platforms. The new design is expected to be simple and highly adaptable for big screen as well as mobile. Moreover, the company believes it will help customers make posts, search, etc. easier.
