Global Geophysical Services Names Mathew Verghese COO, Sean Gore CFO

(RTTNews) - Global Geophysical Services, Inc. (GGS) Friday said it has appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Mathew Verghese to the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

The company also appointed Sean Gore to succeed Verghese to the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Both appointments are effective immediately.

The provider of geoscience and engineering solutions to the global oil and gas industry noted that Verghese has served as the company's Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since he joined Global in March 2009.

In this new role, Verghese will be primarily responsible for worldwide operations and business development. He will continue to report to the company's President and CEO Richard White.

Gore most recently served as the company's Vice President, Corporate Development and Treasurer. He joined Global in October 2012, and before that he served as Chief Financial Officer for Aperio Energy Partners, LLC.
