GKN Appoints Informa's Adam Walker As Group Finance Director - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Engineering group GKN Plc (GKN.L) Thursday announced that it has appointed Adam Walker to succeed Bill Seeger as Group Finance Director on February 26, 2014. He will join the GKN Board on January 1, 2014 as Group Finance Director Designate.

Walker is currently Group Finance Director of Publishing firm Informa plc (INF.L, INFMF.PK), a position he has held since March 2008.

Seeger, Group Finance Director, intends to step down from the Board on February 25 following the announcement of the annual results for 2013 and would retire from the GKN Group on 31 August 2014.

Seeger joined GKN in 2003 and held senior finance positions within GKN Aerospace before being appointed Group Finance Director in September 2007.

Separately, Informa announced that Adam Walker would move to GKN, and will remain with Informa until December 31st to complete the current financial reporting period.

Informa has appointed an executive search firm to work closely with Chief Executive Designate Stephen Carter to identify his successor.
