GE Names Harel Kodesh VP, Chief Technology Officer, GE Software - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - GE (GE) announced the appointment of four new Company officers namely, Harel Kodesh, Collin Parris, Sharis Pozen and Weiming Xiang.

GE said it has 196 officers globally who lead large revenue-generating businesses or are in critical technology or functional roles, helping to drive growth.

Commenting on the appointments, the company said Harel Kodesh has been named vice president, chief technology officer, GE Software. Kodesh joined GE from Nurego, where he served as chief executive officer and founder.

Colin Parris has been appointed vice president of software research, GE Software. Parris joined GE from IBM, where he held a series of leadership roles in IBM Systems & Technology Group and IBM Research.

GE said it has named Sharis Pozen vice president, global competition and antitrust counsel for GE Corporate Legal. Pozen joined GE from Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, LLP, where she served as partner.

Commenting on Weiming Xiang, the company said he has been appointed vice president, regional sales - for GE Aviation. Xiang joined GE in 1992, where he held a series of leadership roles in sales and marketing for GE Transportation and GE Aviation.
