Fannie Mae Leaders Named Among 'Most Powerful' List

WASHINGTON, Dec. 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Fannie Mae's (OTC Bulletin Board: FNMA) Jeffery Hayward, Executive Vice President and Head of Multifamily, and Kimberly Johnson, Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer have been named among Black Enterprise's 2017 list of the Most Powerful Executives in Corporate America.

The annual listing, compiled by the publication's editorial team, identifies prominent African American leaders from the nation's 1,000 largest publically traded companies and 100 international companies who have had a significant influence in their company and industry. The 300 executives included make business-building contributions to the nation's largest corporations, driving strategy, revenues, profits, and productivity.

Throughout his 30-year career, Jeff has held many senior roles across Fannie Mae and in recent years has focused on solving America's affordable housing crisis, as the head of the company's Multifamily business. Fannie Mae Multifamily is the leading source of financing and securitization for quality rental housing in the United States. Jeff holds additional notable honors, including Commercial Observer's "50 Most Important People in Commercial Real Estate" a list he has been featured on consistently since 2013. He has also been named a Real Estate Kingmaker by Forbes magazine. Jeff serves on the Boards of the Mortgage Bankers Association Commercial Real Estate Finance Board of Governors, the National Alliance to End Homelessness, and is an Advisory Board Member for the National Multifamily Housing Council.

Kimberly joined Fannie Mae in 2006 and is responsible for Enterprise Risk Management, which oversees the company's governance and strategy for global risk management. Among her most recent honors, she was recognized as one of the top Women in Housing from MReport, the Washington Business Journal named her to its distinguished "Women Who Mean Business" list; Mortgage Professional America recognized her on their Hot 100 list; and, she received the Women of Excellence Award in Community Service from the National Association of Female Executives. Kimberly serves as a Director on the Boards of the Greater Washington Board of Trade and Calvert Impact Capital.
