Famous Dave's Of America Says Ed Rensi Has Stepped Down As CEO

(RTTNews) - Famous Dave's of America, Inc. (DAVE) announced that Ed Rensi has stepped down from his role as Chief Executive Officer or CEO effective immediately. The Board has appointed Adam Wright, an independent director of the Company since 2013, to serve as interim Chief Executive Officer while it conducts a search for a permanent CEO.

Commenting on Rensi, the company said he joined the Famous Dave's Board in January 2014, and agreed to assume the role of Chief Executive Officer in February 2014 following the unexpected resignation of his predecessor. Rensi will continue to serve on the Company's Board of Directors and will lead the Board's efforts in overseeing the company's international expansion efforts.
