EXCO Resources CFO Steps Down; Names Richard Burnett Replacement

(RTTNews) - Oil and gas company EXCO Resources, Inc. (XCO) Monday said its Chief Financial Officer Mark Mulhern is stepping down to join a local real estate investment trust. The company named Richard Burnett as its new finance chief, effective September 19, 2014.

Burnett joined EXCO in November 2013 and presently serves as the company's Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer. Previously, he was an audit partner at KPMG where he spent 12 years primarily serving the oil and gas industry. He started his career at Arthur Andersen LLP and moved to KPMG in 2002.

In a separate statement, Highwoods Properties, Inc. (HIW) said its retiring CFO will be succeeded by Mark Mulhern.
