EveryWare Global Names Sam Solomon Interim CEO - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - EveryWare Global, Inc.'s (EVRY) board has appointed Sam Solomon as interim Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. He is replacing John Sheppard, who left the firm, effective February 24, 2014.

Solomon joins EveryWare with over 20 years of experience in branded consumer, multi-channel businesses including Sears, The Coleman Company, and Procter and Gamble. Most recently, he served as President of the Sears/Kmart Tools, Hardware and Paint business where he was responsible for the iconic Craftsman brand.

In addition, the board has formed a search committee to evaluate candidates to serve as the company's permanent CEO and has engaged leading executive search firm, Korn Ferry, to assist in the process. Solomon is a candidate in the search for a permanent EveryWare CEO.
