Ensco plc Profit Advances 127% In Q2

(RTTNews) - Ensco plc (ESV) announced earnings for its second quarter that increased from last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $590.6 million, or $2.04 per share. This was higher than $260.3 million, or $1.15 per share, in last year's second quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 14.2% to $0.91 billion. This was down from $1.06 billion last year.
