Energy Transfer Equity L.P. Earnings Fall 29% In Q3

(RTTNews) - Energy Transfer Equity L.P. (ETE) revealed a profit for third quarter that fell from last year.

The company said its earnings fell to $207 million, or $0.19 per share. This was down from $291 million, or $0.28 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.25 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 8.9% to $9.68 billion. This was down from $10.62 billion last year.
