Energy Transfer Equity L.P. Bottom Line Climbs 55% In Q3

(RTTNews) - Energy Transfer Equity L.P. (ETE) announced a profit for its third quarter that advanced from last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $291 million, or $0.28 per share. This was up from $188 million, or $0.17 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.26 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 29.2% to $10.62 billion. This was down from $14.99 billion last year.
