Embraer Turns To Profit In Q2 - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Embraer S.A. (ERJ) reported that profit attributable to owners of the company for the second-quarter was $143.4 million, compared to net loss of $5.3 million in the prior year. Earnings per ADS was $0.7792, compared to a loss of $0.0289 last year.

Adjusted Net Income excluding the deferred income tax and social contribution was $128.8 million compared to $91.8 million in the prior year.

Revenue for the quarter grew to $1.761 billion from $1.557 billion last year.

Embraer delivered a total of 29 commercial and 29 executive aircraft (22 light jets and 7 large jets) in the second-quarter of 2014, compared to a total of 22 commercial and 29 executive aircraft (23 light jets and 6 large jets) in last year.

The Company's firm order backlog ended 2Q14 at $18.1 billion.

The Company's 2014 Guidance for financial performance and Commercial and Executive aircraft deliveries published in February remains unchanged.
