Earnings Watch For February 14 (CPB, H, SJM, IPG)

(RTTNews) - Campbell Soup Co. (CPB) is due to post its second quarter results before the market opens. The company is expected to earn $0.73 per share, higher than the last year's $0.70 per share. However, the Camden, New Jersey-based maker of ready-to-serve soups, pastas and sauces, is anticipated to generate revenues of $2.27 billion, a decrease from $2.33 billion reported a year earlier. Hyatt Hotels Corp. (H) is slated to report fourth quarter results. The Chicago, Illinois-based company is expected to post earnings of $0.20 per share, flat with last year. Food products maker J. M. Smucker Co. (SJM) is expected to report third quarter results before the market opens. The earnings of the Orrville, Ohio-based maker of Smucker's jams and Folgers coffee are expected to climb to $1.68 per share from the year-ago quarter's $1.47 per share, revenues are anticipated at $1.53 billion, down from $1.56 billion in the prior-year quarter. The company's shares closed Thursday's session at $95.14. (52-wk H/L $114.72/$91.41)

Interpublic Group of Companies, Inc. (IPG), a provider of advertising and marketing services, is scheduled to report its fourth quarter results. The earnings for the quarter are expected to rise to $0.58 per share from $0.56 per share reported a year ago. Revenues are anticipated at $2.12 billion, an increase from the last year's $2.06 billion. On the NYSE, the shares closed Thursday at $17.13. (52-wk H/L $17.85/$12.00)
