Financial Figures/Balance Sheet 15.02.2013

Reporting sales revenues of EUR 227.4 million for the fiscal year 2012, Westag & Getalit AG was able to match the previous year's gratifying level of sales (EUR 227.1 million). At EUR 48.9 million (previous year: EUR 48.7 million) exports also remained almost constant despite the precarious economic situation in Europe.

Earnings before income tax amounted to EUR 10.8 million (previous year: EUR 11.8 million) in fiscal 2012. As already pointed out in the previous quarterly reports, results were affected by the inferior quality of certain sourced raw materials and the resulting increase in the cost of manufacturing our products.

Reflecting the trend in earnings before tax, net profit for the year reached EUR 7.5 million (previous year: EUR 8.2 million).

All above figures are provisional and are subject to the ongoing audit of the financial statements. The final figures as well as a profit appropriation proposal will be communicated in an ad-hoc press release on March 14, 2013 following the adoption of the financial statements by the Supervisory Board.
