E2open Q3 Loss Widens; Cuts 2015 Outlook; Shares Plunge 37% - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Cloud-based software solutions provider E2open, Inc. (EOPN) reported a net loss of $9.07 million or $0.31 per share for the third quarter, wider than $7.38 million or $0.28 per share in the prior-year quarter.

Excluding items, adjusted net loss for the quarter was $4.66 million or $0.15 per share, compared to an adjusted net loss of $4.39 million or $0.16 per share in the year-ago quarter.

Total revenue for the quarter grew to $20.15 million from $19.98 million in the same quarter last year, while total adjusted revenue was $20.78 million, compared to $18.94 million last year.

On average, eight analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.18 per share on revenue of $20.58 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Looking ahead to the fourth quarter, the company forecasts revenue of $19.2 million to $19.7 million, adjusted revenue of $19.3 million to $19.8 million and adjusted loss in a range of $0.22 to $0.20 per share. Analysts currently expect the company to report a loss of $0.16 per share on revenue of $22.67 million for the quarter.

For fiscal 2015, the company now expects revenue of $78.4 million to $78.9 million, adjusted revenue of $80.5 million to $81.0 million and adjusted loss of $0.63 to $0.61 per share. Previously, the company forecast revenue of $80.8 million to $83.3 million, adjusted revenue of $83.0 million to $85.5 million and adjusted loss $0.61 to $0.58 per share. Street is currently looking for full-year 2015 loss of $0.59 per share on annual revenues of $83.69 million.
