Ducommun Receives Multi-yr Contract From Boeing Company - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Ducommun Incorporated (DCO) announced it has received a multi-year award from the Boeing Company (BA) to produce position sensors, also known as resolvers, for the U.S. Navy's and U.K. Navy's Trident Navigation System used on U.S. Ohio-class and U.K.Vanguard-class submarines.

Anthony Reardon, CEO, said: "This work builds upon our relationship with both Boeing and the U.S. Navy, reflecting the reliability of our technology in position sensing and Ducommun's efforts to continue to grow our military market presence."

Ducommun will manufacture the resolvers at its Carson, Calif., operation center through 2017.
