Drew Industries Q3 Profit Rises - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Drew Industries Incorporated (DW), a supplier of components for recreational vehicles and manufactured homes, reported that its third-quarter net income increased to $14.8 million, or $0.62 per share, from $9.8 million, or $0.43 per share, last year.

On average, four analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per share of $0.55 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Net sales increased to $251 million, 11 percent higher than prior year. Th company said the sales growth was primarily the result of a 12 percent sales increase by Drew's RV Segment, which accounted for 87 percent of consolidated net sales this quarter.
