Dialog Semiconductor Closes Acquisition Of IWatt Inc. - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Dialog Semiconductor Plc (DLGNF.PK, DLGS), a provider of integrated power management, audio and short-range wireless technologies, Tuesday closed the acquisition of iWatt Inc., a provider of digital power management integrated circuits.

Earlier this month, Dialog agreed to acquire iWatt for $310 million in cash, plus contingent payment of up to $35 million, based on future revenue milestones.

The deal provides market leadership for Dialog in Smartphone and Tablet AC/DC charger adaptors and extends their entry into the high growth LED solid state lighting markets.
