UMS United Medical Systems International AG i. A.: UMS enters settlement with former tax advisor totals 349 TEUR

Hamburg, August 8, 2018. UMS AG has agreed to a payment of EUR 335,000.00 by its former tax advisor to compensate the harm caused by the erroneous advice given by the advisor in the years 2010 and 2011. UMS AG will also recover two-thirds of its legal costs, totaling EUR 13,998.20. Now that this settlement has been agreed, the liquidation can be wrapped up quickly. The expected date of the last shareholders' meeting is November 19, 2018.

About UMS International AG

UMS United Medical Systems International AG i.A. is a corporation listed in the Prime Standard segment of Deutsche Börse AG. The Company sold its interest in United Medical Systems (DE), Inc. and thus essentially all its assets on August 14, 2014. The shareholders agreed to this sale at the extraordinary shareholders meeting held on September 25, 2014. The agreement was consummated on November 11, 2014. Now that the assets have been sold, the purpose of the Company is to manage its own assets.

At the shareholders meeting held on April 27, 2015 the shareholders resolved to dissolve the Company as of April 30, 2015.
