SolarWorld AG: Special repayment to both bonds
On November 24, 2016, a special repayment will be effected to both bonds of SolarWorld AG, causing a reduction of the respective nominal amount of each note. The technical implementation is not expected to require a halt of bond trading.
In the fourth quarter of 2016, the company sold a solar park from its portfolio to an external investor for a total sales price of EUR 17.0 million. EUR 7.5 million of the sales proceeds will go to SolarWorld's financial creditors. They will be paid pro rata to the holders of the Senior Facilities and of both bonds.
