SolarWorld AG: Technical halt of bond trading due to change in nominal value Exercise of right to defer interest payment

The stock trading of bond SolarWorld FRN IS. 2014/2019 Series 1116 (ISIN DE000A1YDDX6) and bond SolarWorld FRN IS. 2014/2019 Series 1017 (ISIN DE000A1YCN14) will presumably be temporarily suspended in coordination with the involved institutions to enable the technical implementation of an increase of their nominal values. Last trading day of both bonds will presumably be Monday, September 26, 2016. Trading is expected to recommence on Friday, September 30, 2016.

The increase of nominal values results from the exercise of the right provided in the Conditions of Issue of the bonds (Section 3 (4)) to pay accrued interests together with the principal on maturity date. Consequently, margin will be increased retroactively for the respective interest period from June 30 to September 29, 2016, to 10% p. a. plus the base interest rate 3-month EURIBOR of at least 1% p. a. As at September 30, 2016, the nominal values of the bonds will increase by the respective interest amount accrued by September 29, 2016.
